Capturing my mixed feelings..
Got my exam results yesterday.. b, b, c+, c+.. After hearing the shockingly poor results, i calculated my CAP and thought that i've lost my 2nd lower honours to 3rd.. I felt really sad and disappointed with myself.. I was giving tuition then, but my mind was in such a whirl that i didn't know what i was doing.. I smsed simon abt it, but i guess he didn't know what to say to make me feel better except asking if i wanna hit the gym.. Actually, nothing would help. Eventually after tuition, i realised that my CAP still keeps me at 2nd lower.. It may not be gd enough for others, but i'm really glad to keep myself in that position.. Though it was a mistake when i thought i lost my 2nd lower class honours, at least now i know how disappointed i'll be if it was for real.. And, i should really do something to prevent that from happening in my final semester..
I really couldn't comprehend how i could do this badly.. when i felt i knew what i was doing during the exam.. I tried to think of various excuses to make myself feel better.. the painting at home during the exam period was disturbing my revision? i was thinking too much abt the missing hp pouch when i took the paper, since the paper i got c+ for was taken on the day i found my pouch missing? my gastritis during the exams affected my results? etc etc.. But, i was still unable to convince myself with those.. I could only think that i've grown to become stupider over the years.. According to simon's views, i was too complacent. I wasn't sure abt that, but if that was true, i still had myself to blame..
After all the feeling stupid and blaming myself stuff, i still couldn't understand how the c+ could come about.. So, i decided to request for a review of the results.. though i guess the reply would probably be: there wasn't any mistake in the results, since i've never seen anyone who asked for a review and got better grades.. So, what was i doing everything for? Self-consolation, hoping there was indeed a mistake? Anyway, though i wanted to apply for a review, i was too lazy to travel all the way to submit the forms.. So, i was really thankful to have qiqi who agreed to help me print and submit them.. Erm.. being a shy person who fears rejection, i actually contemplated quite awhile before asking qiqi.. hehe.. Thanks qiqi! Your help is greatly appreciated and u made me happier with ur smses.. =)
I can't really describe it, but i guess i can say that i dun feel too good emotionally lately.. PMS then, hiccups here and there at home, with simon, disappointment with myself in diff aspects.. I've always felt that crying it out is a gd way to feel better, till i realised recently that i wouldn't feel any better if i was left alone and no one picked me from the pool of tears.. Perhaps pampering myself with a facial or hairdye or shopping buys would help more? Whenever i feel down, i'll try to think of what JM told me before.. If things are bad now, they can only turn for the better next..
Anyway, i watched The Chronicles of Narnia today.. I loved the movie pretty much since fantasy is my cup of tea, but simon found it draggy and less appealing though. hehe.. Sitting through it must have been a torture for him, but i actually enjoyed the whole process of watching it! =p
I spent an hour writing out the Buddhism scriptures that my devout Mummy brought home from the temple.. It's actually a project undertaken by the Buddhist temples in a few countries to pray for the Avian flu and animal epidemics to be over. My task merely involves writing over the faintly printed characters in black ink.. I think i did quite a good job! =)

Updates updates..
I've been pretty busy in the past 2 weeks..
Besides the usual tuition, i worked as an exam invigilator for the ACCA exams at Expo for 4 days.. Pretty gd $$ - $40 for 3 hours each day.. just that the travelling all the way to the east was a chore.. Thank goodness i've got a few free rides from QW.. Thanks fren! And, the standing and pacing up and down the rows of candidates wearing my heels left my legs aching at the end of each day.. Really missed my leg massager, simon then... =p
Finished my driving lessons finally.. I'm so glad i got over them cos i'm really sick of attending lessons for so long.. Talking abt drivivng lessons, i met an irritatingly annoying Malay uncle instructor during my 2nd last lesson. Actually, i've got him twice previously too and i already found him irritatingly discouraging.. Yes, i'm the kind of student who needs encouragement to feel motivated.. but i really think there's some problem with him.. He was the one who taught me 3-point turn on a SLOPE last time, and the other instructors were amazed when i told them that.. =O Anyway, this time, he was dozing off when i was doing vertical and parallel parking in the circuit.. I stepped on the footbrake real hard to wake him many times.. Was very pissed off and felt like i was wasting my $$, having a sleeping instructor teaching me.. So, i decided to complain against him and sent a complaint email to SSDC that night.. The supervisor at SSDC called the next morning to clarify the matter and promised to reject him from my list of instructors with immediate effect.. =X Writing complaint letters is my forte, but all i want is for them to better their service.. =p I really wouldn't want to pay $60 for someone to doze off beside me..
I went to Escape Theme Park with simon and my sis last Fri.. We actually spent the whole day there - from 10 am to 6.30 pm! There really isn't much to play.. but i was really tired at the end of the day.. cos i was the most active and busiest one among the 3 of us.. One moment, i was going on the Daytona Go-Kart ride with simon; the next moment, i was on the viking, wet and wild and ferris wheel rides with my sis; and the next moment, i was on the Go-Kart track with simon again.. Phew! I was really drained, trying to keep both of them entertained and making sure neither of them felt bored or lonely for too long.. =X
It's the time of the year when the working class receive their year-end bonus again.. My sis gave me $200 this time.. hehe.. So happy! =) And, simon's sis gave a treat againon sat! BBQ buffet at Rendezvous Hotel.. The food was alright only, but it was so nice of her to treat me again! =)
So many ppl ard me went or are going to Bangkok.. I also wanna go for some cheap shopping!! =p

Holidays!
I really couldn't find the piglet cross stitch handphone pouch.. So sad and disappointing.. =( Yes, i was glad and touched to hear that simon would make another one for me, but i guess it would be a chore for him to do it again.. So, i daren't ask him abt it too.. =p Can only blame myself for losing it and wasting his effort.. =( Anw, i made a Winnie The Pooh cross stitch hp pouch for him too! I did it in one day too.. and during the midst of exams somemore.. hehe.. So pleased to see the end product.. I thought he might find it girlish to use, but i just wanted to do something for him too.. Anw, he's been using it, so i'm happy.. haha..
Hmm, my exams finally ended on 28/11.. Holiday plans include: finishing up my driving lessons, visiting the gym, giving tuition, working as exam invigilator at expo, shopping, meeting up with old-time friends and my fav student, Nicolette!!!, spending lots of time with simon.. =) Looking forward to good times..
Simon and i went on a trip to Genting again from 1/12 to 3/12.. This must be the most fun trip out of the 3 times we went.. cos we won $$ at the casino and ate lots of good stuff this time round...
Our room @ First World Hotel.. It's in a new tower, so it's much better than the one we went to the 1st time..

Our winnings from the casino by the 2nd night..

My winnings - RM265

Simon's winnings - RM365
We enjoyed our time spent in the casino! Other than eating and sleeping, we spent all our time playing roulette in the casino.. hehe.. I must say simon had gambling luck cos his wins were always much greater than mine.. I caught up a lil later on and it felt great winning stacks of chips.. Won the above chips from roulette by the 2nd night.. =) but we lost some of our winnings at the "Big-Small" table on the 3rd morning before we left Genting.. =p Anw, it didn't really matter cos we dun intend to change the ringgits to S$ since the amount was so little.. Nevertheless, i had lots of fun trying my luck at the casino!
Ate lots of stuff at Genting too.. cos we kept feeling hungry.. must be due to the cold weather.. and it was really vvvvv cold for me.. Had MacDonald's, BK, KFC, Korean food, Chinese food at Hainan Restoran.. and Ah Yat Abalone for lunch on our last day before we left!!! It was actually quite cheap, just RM 200 for 2 persons.. Here are the pictures of the dishes we had in each of our set meals..

Shark's fins - the best dish among the list! Super tasty.. *droolz*

Roast suckling pig

Braised South African abalone with mushroom and veggie

Fish fillet

Fried rice wrapped in lotus leaf

Almond tea - i dun like!
It was a nice trip which i enjoyed greatly.. loved spending time together with simon.. hope he had fun too! ;)
Another happy thing that happened: I struck 4D on Sat 3/11.. 4331 - Starters, $250! =)
