The nice pink case contains a eyeshadow palette, mascara, lip gloss, eye makeup remover and eye cream. I must say they know me so well cos the vain and wanna-look-pretty ME really love the gift!! Gave them a supper treat at Geylang for their kind gesture.. =) I received well wishes from the girls i took during relief teaching too.. in the form of emails, drawings, verbal wishes, presents... So happy to receive well wishes from so many young children this year.. hehe.. The girls are really sweet and thoughtful!! Lastly, thanks to everyone who still remembered and sent me ur wishes! I'm glad i'm still on ur mind.. hehe.. I promised her online the night before that i would turn up since she told me that she would have a sad birthday if i didn't go.. and i saw her MSN display name "so sad our relift teacher only took us fer 2 days and left!!! she so pretty and cute!!!" haha.. Even my sis' bf was surprised and puzzled why a student whom i had only taught for 2 days would be so close to me and invited me to her party.. =p Didn't want to disappoint her.. So in the end, I brought simon with me to her party.. We bought a handphone pouch and wallet-cum-tissue pouch for her.. Something simple like these cost ~$40 wor.. =p I just hope she likes them.. It was nice to see the girls again at the party.. They were very excited to see simon too.. haha.. They wanted to take pics of us, see us do lots of couple stuff, etc.. Guess it's the first time we have so many ppl staring at us when we're eating together.. =p They told simon lots of funny stuff too.. like he must treat me well, or else they'll introduce a new bf to me.. and when we get married, we must invite them.. cos a girl wanted to play the piano for us, another requested for red wine, another wanted beer, etc etc.. One girl even said she really wanted to bring me to Hong Kong with her at the end of the year.. haha... Lots of funny stuff took place.. Other than having a set meal, ice-cream and the delicious ice-cream birthday cake, goodies bags were given out and there were games too.. Simon and i joined in the first game, and decided that we were too old for the subsequent ones.. It was interesting watching the kids play too.. I was the judge for their Design-An-Ice-cream" competition.. The girls were so sweet! One took a spoonful of their ice-cream creation for me.. while Nicolette gave me a Swenson's notepad, the consolation prize for their games.. =) Before we left, Nicolette's mum told me that Nicolette was so excited to know that i would be going that she could not get to sleep the night before.. haha.. So happy to hear that.. =p I really enjoyed myself at the party.. Great to be able to join the girls and bring my well wishes to my fav student, Nicolette.. I hope simon had fun too and didn't feel bored.. =p Children are so lively, innocent and simple.. i love being with them! =)Lots of interesting stuff happening recently.. i really enjoy the buzz in my life.. =) High tea buffet:Went for high tea buffet at Cafe Vienna at Royal Plaza on Scotts with simon on wed 2/11.. My sis' bf paid for it cos there was a 1-for-1 promotion, and he owed me a meal treat for the help i've rendered in his work.. haha.. The food was fine.. not too bad, not too fantastic.. but gd to get a free meal for both of us.. ;)Relief teaching:Went for relief teaching at CHIJ OLGC on wed 2/11 and fri 4/11.. Took a new class 5 Hope, a great class to spend time with.. Since the exams were over, the girls brought board and card games to play. I just had to babysit the class.. I was chatting with them, listening to their stories and gossips, playing charades and hangman with them, and having fun all the time.. Such a relaxing and enjoyable job.. =) I bought mentos specially for them too.. Such a sweet teacher of me hor! hehe.. In the end, i saw this entry on their class blog: "New relief teacher>
Whaaaa! We have this new relief teacher, her name is Miss Grace Tan, and she's so pretty. And she's nice to us. No wonder they say, relief teachers are always the best, coz' they allow you to be like, close to freedom. So nice!" hmm, i enjoyed taking their class as much as they enjoyed my presence.. It feels gd to be appreciated! =)My Birthday on Thurs 3/11!Simon came over to my house with a birthday cake and a bouquet of a dozen pink roses at midnight. 
Really love these roses! They're just lying beside my bed.. ;DI was happy and touched by the pleasant surprise! =) He had been sleeping very lil and was not feeling too well, so i was glad he still made the effort.. hehe.. Thanks BB!! He bought me a skirt, gave me a birthday dinner treat at Swenson's.. and 2 cross-stitch that he did in just 3 days and 3 nights! So sweet! =) I can't finish those in such a short time myself.. =p
